Stella Roux Sanford

Stella Roux Sanford, age 91 years, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at 1:30 o'clock AM. Beloved wife of the late David Monroe Sanford. Mother of the late Charley H. Joseph. Mother-in-law of the late Madgie Paysee Joseph. Also survived by two grandchildren Givonna Joseph Mason and Keith Joseph. One great-granddaughter Aria Mason, six nieces, Shirley Lewis and Thelma Sanders of Los Angeles, Wilhemina and Juanita Caiton, Lucille Justin and Eva Batiste, great niece Claudia S. Cox and a host of great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one grandson Kevin Joseph, two nieces, two nephews, and twelve siblings. Her parents were Jules and Selica Roux. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral Mass on Monday, July 1, 2002 - 10 o'clock a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street.
