I remember as a kid, spending a lot of summers there. He took us crabbing. Even when we were adults, we would meet at the lake and go crabbing. Whenever we would visit, we would sit around talking about the next meal we would cook. He will truly be missed.

First, there was no one like him. He had a sense of humor that made everyone smile. He took my son, Evan, with him on his fruit truck one day and Evan still laughs about his interactions with some customers . He was loved. All in all, he was a piece of work. Will miss him.

I have many wonderful memories with Uncle Steve. But I guess my favorite will always be the day he called me to come over and learn how to make his famous tamales! You will truly be missed.
