Sterling Lemuel Obituary

Rev. Sterling A. Lemuel, a former employee of Charity Hospital and Weiser Security Services, died Wednesday, February 5, 2003 of natural causes at Memorial Medical Center Baptist Campus. He was 76 years old. Rev. Lemuel was born in Pearlington, Ms. and lived in New Orleans for most of his life. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. Son of the late Frederick and Nola Bush Lemuel. Husband of Rev. Ethel Brack M. Lemuel. Step-father of Terry and Gerry Morgan, Fred Lemuel, Mary Ann Collins and Lucy Benard. Brother of the late Lillie L. Lee, Rose L. Eady, Chloe L. Diamond, Marjorie L. Oliver, Helen L. Cressey, Edna L. Williams and Fred Lemuel, Jr. He also leaves a host of other family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at Tharp- Sontheimer- Laudumiey, 5001 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA. at 1:00 pm. Viewing and visitation will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Pearlington Cemetery, Pearlington, MS.
