To the Caluda family our deepest condolences we had the greatest respect for Steve and will miss his generous nature, his warm smile and his remarkable sense of humor.
Steve was a true warrior and we admire the way he lived his life he was such a wonderful man. Please let us know whether there is anything we can do to help during this difficult time.

Ms. Helen, I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was friends with Steven in high school. He was Scott Gremillion's best friend, and Scott and I dated. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's sad to see a life cut so short. The memories of high school days makes me smile, so always keep the memories of happy days in your mind, because those are the ones that will make you smile. My prayers are with you and your family.

There are NO words that can express the sadness that I feel for you, Darlene and the kids. Life will never be the same but...it can still be wonderful. The love that Steve has left behind was the kind of love that most people will spend a life time looking for. But, you wont have look very far to see it! Steve was a one in a million kind of Father, Husband, brother, son and friend. He fought a brave and tough fight but, I the end as it often does the CANCER won! Cancer may have taken you out of daily lives but, it will never take your love from our hearts! I have never had the honor of knowing a better human being in my life. He was my HERO in may way. I was my pleasure to watch him with his beautiful wife and his loving family. Steve often gave me the courage that I needed to carry on from the problems that life often handed me. He also taught that you can face anything that life hands you with style and Grace, just has he did! I will miss sending him pictures in the morning just to hear him laugh. My life is forever changed in many ways because of the amount of love and care that he showed anyone that he knew! His smile you light up a room and he could always make you feel better after talking to him for 2 seconds! My tears will fall for you after today and forever...some will be sad but, most will be filled with joy from the memories that you have left me with.
It was a great honor to have you as a part of my family!
Dee, I will be here for you forever! I love you and I will always be here to pick up you if you need it or just walk by your side! You heart and soul are also a blessing to my life!
I love you and the kids so much! Together we will get through the rough times and still be able to laugh about the old ones!

Stevie, you were the best uncle in the world. I have so many great memories of growing up with you, from giving me a hard time at Paw Paw s store to putting the fire out in my first car. It is going to be hard watching football games without you, but I know you will be yelling along with us. You were such a great person and have always been there for me always. When I looked at Steve, I saw a courageous and loving man. He loved his family and friends so much that he fought daily to remain in their presence. He is more than just a friend & co-worker to me, he is the definition of inspiration. I will cherish every memory, email, funny picture, and saying that I have had from or with him for the last 3 years. I was blessed to have known him. I am truly sorry for this loss, as it was too soon to take this wonderful man. Darlene, Brad, Cody, & Amanda have a very rough road ahead but I am most positive that Steve will be helping from above and giving them his strength at this time. I love you all & Steve will be missed always.

Steve - no words can say how heartbroken we are right now. You are an inspiration to me and many others as to your determination to fight the battle you fought as well as your loving and caring nature not only to Dee, the kids and your family but also to your friends and anyone who needed help.
You were one of the greatest friends and neighbors anyone could ask for and I thank God everyday that Dave and I moved to Olivia Street over 19 years ago and met you and Dee - not knowing then the lifelong freindship I would have with you all.
I thank God that you are no longer suffering and you are watching over us all as our New Angel Above.
Miss you like crazy and love you to the moon and back and the the sun and back!
