Steven M. Carter

Steven M. Carter transitioned on Sunday, June 11, 2023 to be with his heavenly Father at the age of 56 in Arlington, Texas. He leaves to cherish his amazing wife Angela R. Carter; 1 daughter Monchel Cooper, 2 godsons: Ernest Bringier, IV and Byron Carter, Jr.; 6 siblings: Eurine Carter (Renita), Diane Riley (Gregory), Clarence Carter (Venice), Lee James Clark (Janice), Terry Carter (Angela) and Byron Carter, Sr.; 2 aunts: Janice Schonberg (Charles) and Lois Ricard; brother-in-law Ricky Richardson (Shaun); sister-in-law Sharlene Richardson and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Carter, Jr. and Dolores Julien-Carter and his father and mother-in-law Robert Richardson and Virginia Richardson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral, 1937 Mirabeau Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. Richardson Funeral Home of Jefferson, River Ridge, LA, in charge of arrangements.
