I still miss Susan and often think of her fondly, especially when I go to the Mesa Public Library or think about doing public art projects.

My dearest Susan. I was just going through the Project File of the Artist Transit Shelter Project on College Avenue N of University in Tempe that I helped facilitate the realization of for you between '96 and '97. You are just as alive, vivrant, creative, and full of passion in my mind as you were then. I still see your work on the side of the Mesa Public library and it gives me some sense of peace that you are still with me (us) in the 3D even though the beautiful bus station we worked so hard to create is long gone. See you soon my friend. Hope you are working on some amazing things on the other side. Can't wait to see them. :*

I was deeply sadened at the loss of Sue Furini. As one of her Ceramic Professors at ASU I knew Sue to be an extremly intelegent student and gifted artist. More important to all of us was her warmth, hummor and the fact she was a fine human being in every way. She made the world a better place for having been here. I was personaly blesed having also known her as a friend. Randall Schmidt, Professor Emeritus, Arizona State University

Sue was a fantastic and dedicated artist. When I picture her, she has a big smile with twinkly eyes. Sue had a wonderful sense of humor and whimsy. I'll miss her kind and gentle spirit.

Pat,
I was so sorry to hear about your daughter. I have some of her ornaments up on my tree for Mardi Gras as I am writing this. She was a very talented artist and I am sure Bruno is so very glad to have her by his side. Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this most difficult time. The loss of a child is so much greater than anything. Call me if you need anything, anything at all. Love you lots.
