Susan Davies Ordemann

Mrs. Susan Davies Ordemann, 90, a resident of Poydras Home in New Orleans, LA, passed away quietly on January 14, 2017. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, J. Lloyd Davies and Stella P. Davies, her husband, Marshall F. Ordemann, and her stepson, Edward M. Ordemann. She is survived by her cousin, Cassondra Anderson of Sarasota, FL; her stepchildren Marshall F. Ordemann, Jr. (Carol), Katherine O. Harris (Peter), Susan H. Ordemann (Edward), and Elizabeth Ordemann; her grandchildren, Neil & Ashley Harris, Beau (Maggie) & Emery Ordemann, Kelly, Kaitlin, & Eddie Ordemann, Rev. Mae (Andrew) Christie, Charlie and Mary Alice Mouk; and her greatgrandchild, Riley Layne Ordemann. Susan was born in Miami, FL, and lived in Ft. Thomas, KY, before moving to New Orleans where she worked for many years as an Executive Assistant at IBM. She was an active member of Trinity Church, where she especially enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She was a member of the Caledonian Society and the Colonial Dames. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Church on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2pm. The Trinity Choir will perform some of her favorite songs during the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Trinity Church.
