Suzanne Luminais Soignier

Suzanne Luminais Soignier, a resident of Metairie, Louisiana, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022, she was 66 years old. She was the devoted wife of loving husband Wayne Joseph Soignier for 23 years who passed away on June 3rd, 2002. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Yvonne St. Pierre Luminais and Sidney W. Luminais (World War II - U.S. Veteran). She is survived by her brother Keith J. Luminais (Shelly); nephews Keith J. Luminais, Jr. (Kimberly) and Rene J. Luminais; grand neices and nephew, Claire, Ainsley and Beau Luminais. Gladly, her loyal cat companion 'Angel' has been adopted by her close friend Vickie. Suzanne was a graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School in Metairie and employed by the City of Kenner as a Buyer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17th at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W Metairie Avenue, Metairie, La 70003 from 10:00 am to 11:00am. A Catholic Mass will follow immediately. Interment at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La. 70001. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity.
