I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT CHARLENE OFTEN OVER THE YEARS.

I CAN STILL PICTURE HER AND I GETTING OFF THE CANAL BOULEVARD BUS AND WALKING DOWN HARRISON AVENUE IN OUR CABRINI HIGH SCHOOL GREEN A-LINE UNIFORM SKIRTS THAT WERE HAND-MADE BY THE NUNS.

SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS HAD A BIG SMILE ON HER BEAUTIFUL FACE.

I WILL CONTINUE TO IMAGINE HER THAT WAY AND PRAY FOR HER FAMILY DURING THEIR TIME OF GRIEF.

OH WHAT A JOY IT WILL BE TO MEET UP WITH HER AGAIN IN HER WHITE SKIRT HAND-MADE BY THE ANGELS...

Joe & Family
So sorry to hear about Charlene. I knew of Charlene when I was a kid but got reacquainted with her when our son started at Jesuit and I took over the Christmas Bazaar from her. We found out that our parents were friends when we were growing up. I will always remember Charlene. She was the sunshine when she walked into a meeting. Always making you laugh and feeling good about yourself. You are your family will be in our constant prayers.

Our beloved Charlene! Amongst us Chi O gals we still speak of her frequently and fondly. She was so unique with her unintentional humor and her heart of gold; truly one of a kind. She leaves behind a legacy of good will, a memory of laughter, and a loving family.

Mr. Joe, Todd, Nicole, Duke and Will, you have our love and sympathy.

I am devastated. She was a true and wonderful friend and I shall miss her terribly.

I know that she is in God's loving arms and that her white robe, or at least the apron that I am sure God has given her, is embossed with a golden fleur de lis. I know she is cooking up a storm and feeding the heavenly host and all of the angels and saints.

I know that she is at peace, basking in the radiant light of our Heavenly Father. She will never be any further away than a thought or a prayer.

My heart is broken for all of you and all of us who were blessed to know her. She will live on in our memory.

I am so sorry that I can't be there in person, but please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this dificult time and that I am with you all in spirit.

I send you Big hugs and Much Love,
Steph
