BASTAS Tami Thuy Bastas passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 unexpectedly. Born on November 18, 1965 to parents Mr. and Mrs. Nghi V Tran of Avondale, LA. She is survived by her loving husband Jona G. Bastas and her parents Mr. & Mrs. Nghi V Tran and family members Mr. & Mrs. Ba Tran, Mr. and Mrs. Tran Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Quang Nguyen, Mr. & Mrs. Philip Smith, Mr. Quyet Tran, Mr. & Mrs. John Heine, Jr., Mr. David Tran, Mr. & Mrs. Jerrod Britt. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Assumption of Mary Catholic Church, Noel Drive, Avondale, LA on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 6 PM followed by the visitation in church until 8:30 PM. Services will resume at church on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 9:00 am. Interment will be private. For further funeral information or directions, please call Mothe Funeral Home at 504.366.4343.
