ROSETTE Tarzie Mae Rosette was called home to be with her Lord and Savior at River Region Hospice in River Ridge, La. on Friday, October 2, 2009 at 4:22p.m. Wife of the late Hurley Rosette, Sr. Mother of James (Elsie) Rosette of San Diego, Ca., Hurley Rosette of Hahnville, La., Ella E. Powell and Worendia Rosette both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and the late Herbert Lee Rosette. Devoted grandmother of Joyce R. LeGaux. Daughter of the late Ison Mouton and Elnora Matthews Mouton. Sister of Mary Lee of St. Martinville, La. and Edna M. Mouton of Rayne, La. Godmother of Chester Davis, Jr. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 97 years. A native of Rayne, La. and a resident of Hahnville, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. James United Methodist Church and Little Zion B.C. #3 and all neighboring churches are invited to attended the Funeral Service at St. James United Methodist Church, 215 Pine St., Hahnville, La. on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Kaseem Short, officiating / Host Pastor Marva L. Mitchell. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named church. Interment: St. James United Methodist Cemetery - Hahnville, La.
