Terry Perrin Obituary

PERRIN On October 3, 2007, Terry Perrin, age 64, passed away at his home in New Orleans, Louisiana. On Sunday, October 28 at 3:00 p.m., a Memorial Service will be held near his family home in Henry. The Reverend Ann Sutton, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, will conduct the service. Musical selections will be provided by Natial d'Augereau, Sam Broussard, and D.L. Menard. In memorial, his grandchildren will plant an oak tree. For information, please call 225-773-35500. Mr. Perrin was a 1960 graduate of Henry High School. He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Acadian Heritage and Cultural Museum of Erath, CODOFIL, the New Orleans Athletic Club, and the 1963 USL National Collegiate Weightlifting Team. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lolly (Bud) and Ella Mae Broussard Perrin, and his brother, Wesley James Perrin. He is survived by his brother, Warren A. Perrin and his wife Mary of Lafayette, his sister, Natial Perrin d'Augereau and her husband David of Abbeville, and daughters Melanie Elizabeth Perrin of Washington, D. C., Angie Perrin Comeaux and her husband Andre' of Lafayette, and Kathleen Letia Perrin Moore and her husband Micah of Baton Rouge. He had four grandchildren, Claire Marie Comeaux, Camille Renee' Comeaux, Whitney Christine Moore, and Matthew Henry Moore. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the UL Ella Mae B. Perrin Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Acadian Heritage and Cultural Museum of Erath. Checks can be mailed to P. O. Box 53597, Lafayette, LA 70505.
