Gabrielle,

I was so sorry to hear about your dad. As the youngest Zimmerman, I didn't have the chance to know him that well, but enjoyed talking to him at family reunions and his occasional visits to Modesto. I know he was one of my Mom's favorites and was very close to her. We'd all love to see you at the reunion coming up in May if it's a possibility. Take care,

Love,

Trying to compose a tribute to Terry brings back a flood of memories. Although we were always far apart, that strong family connection always seemed to be there.

I met Leah when they were living in San Francisco. They escorted my husband and I to many interesting establishments in that city. Leah and I were both expecting, but at the time, the upcoming events were unknown.

Half an hour after the reunion has started in May, I'll be expecting Terry to fly into the room all noise and smiles. A late entrence seemed to be his forte. Add my thoughts and prayers to the long list above.

Gabrielle, we are sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad, Terry. I, personally, have many fond memories of him, especially at the Covey family reunions. I remember one time when he dressed up in his Mardi Gras outfit and threw beads and trinkets to all the family members. He was very special, always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes (probably because he was up to something!). We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

This may not be appropriate at this time, but we would love to have you come to the Covey Family reunion in May. Please send us an email address where we can contact you with the details. In Christ,

Mike and Joan Zimmerman

Terry was Granny and Grandpap Covey's first grandchild and as such all the following grandkids (21 of us) looked up to him. We will be gathering in Sacramento the end of May for a family reunion and Terry will be there in our hearts. I send my love and comfort to his daughter.

My cousin Terry Pointer was always a good friend as well as a cousin. When Terry was in his early 20's he was in the Air Force and was stationed at Travis AFB which is only a half hour drive from Vallejo. Terry would come to Vallejo to visit often and even then drove a Porsche. He and my departed sister, Lani hung out together and became good friends. About 8 years ago I visited Terry in New Orleans. He drove me all around the city and gave me the grand tour. After lunch he took me to his home where he was restoring several old porsches in his carport.

I will miss you Terry, but will see you again at Granny's BIG reunion in heaven......Jackie

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Terry. I was fortunate to have worked with Terry at IBM as he was a class act. He will be missed. My prayers to his family.
