Hello Tyrone, I´m Wanda (Silmon) Delmast. I am so very sorry for your loss. Like so many other students, Mr. Stiebing was my absolute favorite teacher and such a strong influence in my life. He was so hurt when I told him I was going to pass on a nursing career, move to Texas and marry my high school sweetheart. He wanted so much more for me. I wanted to find him to tell him, he was right. The marriage did not last but I did find a successful career. I am now a CST/CSFA Surgical Tech/ Certified Surgical First Assistant. And I definitely credit his encouragement, kindness and individualized attention to my success. He certainly made the difference in my success!

My God!! I just had a thought about my favorite teacher. He taught me English at L. E. Rabouin High school. Sorry to hear about his passing. He will always be remembered. Tyrone I hope that you and your family are doing well and you definitely have my condolences. Rest In Peace my Angel.

Worked with him at Carter G. Woodson and have nothing but fond memories of my time there not only with Dave, but the entire staff from CGW in the late 90's. Sorry to see him gone. Tyronne, hope you are well!!

Tyronne you do not know me. But your father taught me English at Rabouin. He remain apart of my life a little pass senior high school (class of 89). He was teally special to me. We loss contact after I married in 1993. I always asked if anyone heard from him. I been searching until now in hopes of letting him know what a big influence he was in my life. Rest in Heaven. Mr. Stiebing was my favorite teacher at Rabouin. The only teacher i cared to listen to, the only teacher i misses when I left Rabouin. When my brother passed away Mr. Stiebing was the first teacher to show up at the funeral. I remember it like it was yesterday. My condolences with Me. Stiebing family.
