JACKSON Thelma Newsome Jackson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Jackson and Manuel Buckley. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Neusome, Sr. Mother of Jerryartis J. Brumfield and the late Carolyn Collins. Stepmother of Dorothy Jean, Callie Jean, Calvin, Jean, and the late Rufus Buckley. Sister of the late Arthur L. Newsome, Jr. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Matthews MBC are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, 1826 Conti Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 9:00 am. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery. Please visit www.rhodesfuneral.com to sign the guestbook.
