Thomas Lattie Obituary

Thomas James Lattie, Retired NOFD Captain, passed away on December 10, 2014, at the age of 100. After retiring from the Fire Department , he was employed by the State of Louisiana as a supervisory Drivers License Inspector. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 67 years, Mary Cronin Lattie, his son Thomas John Lattie and his parents Thomas F. and Amy Schwarze Lattie. He is survived by his son Patrick (Vanda), grandchildren Timothy and Allison and by his daughter-in-law Mary Jane, his grandson Thomas B. (Nicole) and great grandson Evan. Mr. Lattie was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. His family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Lakeview Peristyle Group Home with special thanks to Eva Opoku and Gerty Richardson for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA, on Monday, December 15, 2014, at 1:00 P.M.
