When I was younger I looked up to Tom as an irreverent/ironic/humorous genuis.

I didn't really get to know him until he got into computers some years ago.

Thru our discussions he became more human to me, but though humanized, he was always an inspiration for the wonderful idea of taking the road least travelled. His pushing of the edges of convention left more room for the less brave of us to move around.

Tom, I salute you.

Sad to hear the news. Though Tom & I were different in many ways, I always enjoyed our occasional intense, introspective, and often hilarious discussions on what's wrong with the planet and the people on it.

Cousin Tommy,
Your gift of conversation, storytelling and monologue! An artist of words, a unique twist of the storyline to engage all of us rapt listeners. I'll
hear your tales forever, at P.I. and wherever a clarinet plays a soulful
tune.

Don't stand by my grave and weep,
For I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond's glint in the snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
In the soft blush of the morning light
I am the swift bird in flight.
Don't stand by my grave and cry,
I am not there,
I did not die.
