I feel privileged to have known Tom professionally and socially. I have seem how compassionately he treated patients with cancer often when they had not the means to pay for it.He was the one I turned to for advise when I had my cancer.Tom was pioneer in the field of Radiation Oncology with many honors, devoted to his patients and family, and committed to many worthy causes. His passing leaves those of us that loved and admired Tom downhearted but thankful to have known him.

Jennie - On behalf of all the members of ACRO, please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. Tom was always happy and one of the friendliest men I have ever met. He was the one member I always looked forward to seeing at the ACRO conferences, and with you at his side you were both very gracious. His service to the College was magnificent and important. He will be missed. I know all ACRO members who knew Tom will keep you and your family in their prayers. Norman Wallis (Executive Director, ACRO)

Jennie - Catherine and I are so very very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We've sad a prayer for both of you. I will always remember his fun stories, great outlook, energy and how fun he was to be around. A found story I remember is when we were at ACRO and bumped into each other, I spilled red wine on his white shirt, it was ruined of course, but he ended up using it for Halloween and went on enjoying the party! I'll miss him. Ron and Catherine DiGiaimo
