He was born to Troy A. Nelson, Sr. of Kenner, LA and Sonia Jackson of Texas. Troy was raised by his grandmother the late Lois Ann Nelson. He was the bonus son of Sharon C. Green of Montz, and the father of Troy A. Nelson, III and Amari Nelson. Brother of Chrone Jackson, Bradlynn Green and Romell (Royann) Green. Grandson of Charles JP Westley, Barbara J. Scott (Milton) and great grandson of John Floyd Nelson, Sr. and the late Eva Mae Nelson. Nephew of Trioat Nelson, Ronnieka (Tony) Minor, Cynthia, Nolan and Richard Jackson. Great nephew of John Floyd Nelson, Jr. (Claudette), Ronnie Nelson, Sr. (Sheila) and Janice (Larry) Scott. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers, and members of St. Michael Baptist Church (Laplace) and Greater Emmanuel M. B. C.; employees of Yur Event Rentals, East Jefferson Levee District, Burger King and Bayer are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 10:00am at Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Hwy., River Ridge, LA.
