Valerie Schtucka Obituary
Valerie Schtucka, 57, our youngest sister, passed away on June 17, 2018, four hours after our brother Eddie Schtucka. She was born on February 28, 1961 to Edward and Juanita Schtucka. Val was a graduate of Chippewa High School.
Valerie lived with our niece, Dana (Mike) Janeczek and their children Logan, Jaden and Ashlyn. Val had good, kind soul. She always wanted to help and was always waiting to laugh. Val loved animals and was happiest while around them. She leaves behind her Fur-Babies: Cra Cra, Sheeka, Sophia, Bentley, Tressel, Leo and Annabelle. They will really miss their Aunty Val, THE BEST SITTER IN THE WORLD!
Valerie was proceeded in death by our parents and brother. She leaves behind her sisters: Diane (Phil) Shue; Roxanne Baker, and Rosemary "Punk" (Mark) Brotherton. Sister-in-Law, Darlene Schtucka. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday June 23, 2018 from 11 - 1 at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Burial to follow at a later date at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Doylestown. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Humane Society of Summit County. (summithumane.org/donate). I'm so very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He was a great friend and I loved him very much. I have alot of wonderful memories of thirty years of working and hunting with your dad..I'll definitely miss him

I always liked my cousin, Valerie. She had a kind heart, a beautiful smile and laugh. One year for Christmas, I received a Newborn Baby Tenderlove doll. She came with a hospital wrist band to write a name on. I named her Valerie. I keep the doll in a closet, along with my childhood treasures. The real Valerie will be kept forever in my heart, along with the people and memories I treasure.
