Valerie Wright Torregano "Black Queen", a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Edgard, LA, departed this life on Monday, September 28, 2020. Wife of Ronnie Torregano, Sr. Daughter of the late John Sr. and Orelia Wright. Mother of Briant, Nalasha, Kevin, and Byrione Wright, Katisha Chevis (Quinci) and the late Gregory Denson, Jr. Sister of Betty Franklin (Zachary, Sr.), John, Jr., Mark, Sr., (JoMarietta), Alicia and David (Toni) Wright and the late LaVerne Jack, Cheri Fields and Antoine Jasmine. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Special dear friend Pamela Rainey Franklin.
