I only learned after Mass today from a former South Central Bell co -worker that my friend and co -worker passed away. I wish to express my sympathy and my prayers for Vaughn´s family . We spent many times over our careers sharing and talking about our youth growing up in Arabi. We did not know each other then but we did have many common acquaintances. He was a Arabi Elementary and Saint Maurice Catholic Church member while I was from the other side of the tracks being a Saint Claude Heights Elementary and a Saint John Vianney Church member. We spent many talks debating who went to the best school and the best church. I can tell you he loved his family , especially his two daughters and his late brother. I know he will be sadly missed and I know he was a friend to everyone. Rest in peace my friend. Harold Chastant

I will miss my sweet neighbor and friend. He was always so sweet to me and my daughter. I will keep the memories so close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God welcome him into Heaven.
