My prayers are with the family at this time. I'll always remember Mr. Martin's smiling face. We're all placed on earth for a reason and Mr. Martin accomplished his tasks. He has now gone on to a better place. May his soul rest in peace.

May our hearts be filled with sweet memories of Uncle Vernon. I remember those days when he would bring bread for Granny and bring along some honeybuns or candy. I remember seeing him at the front gate of Tad Gormley Stadium for most of the St. Aug football games. Uncle Vernon will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Martin & Family,

The support and closeness of your entire family is a blessing you share among you. I admire the strenght you all have shown during a very difficult time as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

May you find comfort in knowing that Mr. Martin lived a full and complete life.
