Empty is the heart that mourns,
Barren and bereft
Of love and smiles and tenderness.
Given joy and hope
By his bright smile and openness,
I look for him all round.
Grieving, lostI find him not
Darkened is the world
And yet, and yet, I know he's here
In laughter, smiles, love.
These things exist and so must he
Beyond our searching sight.
Where giving is, and heart's joy wins
There Vincent still does live.
He will forever inspire us all!!!
