Viola Smith Foster of Reserve, LA on Monday January 24, 2005 at River Parishes Hospital. Wife of the late Thomas Foster, Sr. Daughter of the late Odeal Turner and Roger Smith. Beloved mother of Beatrice Foster Jackson, Clarence (Lucrecia), Ervin (Katherine), Albert (Elaine), Calvin, Alton, Shelia Foster, Patricia Nicholas, Norma Jean Lilly and the late Thomas Foster, Jr. Also survived by (15) grandchildren, (26) great-grandchildren, (5) great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A native if Garyville, LA and a resident of Reserve (Lions), LA. Age 96 years. Relatives of the family, also Pastor, Officers and Members of The Zion Travelers B.C. and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday January 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. from the Zion Travelers B.C. West 23rd St. Reserve, LA. Rev. Isiah Franklin, Jr. Officiating. Visitation at the church after 9:30 A.M. Interment Church Cemetery. THE BALONEY FUNERAL HOME, 399 Earl Baloney Dr., Garyville, LA 70051. 985-535-2540 in charge of arrangements.
