I was so sorry to hear of Mrs.Koellings passing. My prayers go out to the family . I met Mrs.Koelling my first year as a teacher, she was next door to me.She shared so much with myself and all the teachers at Cherbonnier Elementary that first year of it's opening.I always admired the respect her students had for her and her commitment to education.

I beleive I ran into her just a few months ago at the mall and got to talk.

It was always good to run into Mrs.K as I often did over the years.God bless you Mrs.K.

Dear Bro. Koelling,

We were saddened to hear of your recent loss. We will never forget Virgie and her kind ways. In addition to being kind, she was an excellent teacher. She taught our son Brian and we credit teachers like her with instilling the values in him that led to him becoming an Assistant United States Attorney. Though we have not spoken much in the past years, you and Virgie have always been in our thoughts and prayers. You and your family have our deepest sympathies and will remain in our prayers. Sincerely, Ira, MaryAnn, Donna and Brian.

Dear Bob,

Keep your eyes on Jesus who alone can bring real comfort to our aching hearts. Virgie was surely one of the finest Christian friends I've ever known and made a powerful impact upon all our lives. She will always be in our hearts and her sweet spirit will be treasured forever. What a day of rejoicing that will be when we are all reunited! My love and prayers are with you continually.

I am the teacher I am today because of Mrs. Virgie. I will never forget that she would meet me and my dad, at the church, for tutoring in math.

I owe her so much. She was a teacher who inspired me. There was never any question what I wanted to be "when I grew up". Another Mrs. Koelling.
