Warren Reeks Obituary

Warren Gerard Reeks, a retired lawyer, died on his 80th birthday Wednesday, January 7, 2004. Beloved husband of Marie Louise Blossman Reeks. Father of Mary R. Arno, Anne R. Rassenfoss, Richard, David, Paul, Christopher and Thomas Reeks and Ellen R. Bremenstul. Son of the late Jay Gordon Reeks, Sr. and Elizabeth Westerhaus Reeks. Brother of Elizabeth R. Deriax and the late Jay Gordon Reeks, Jr. Grandfather of Sarah Heffron; Samuel Rassenfoss; Matthew, Adrianne, Lauren and Emily Reeks; and Warren and Joseph Arno. Mr. Reeks was a native of New Orleans and resident of River Ridge. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 10021 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge on Friday, January 9, 2004 at 12:00 noon. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Visitation on Friday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The family requests donations to Little Sisters of the Poor, 4201 Woodland Drive, New Orleans, LA. 70131. In lieu of flowers.

Just a note to say that I am deeply saddened by the loss of your loved one. I know first hand how it feels to be without ones father, for I lost mine a few months past. My heart and prayers are with you, and the love of God will get you through it all. Peace be with you always.
