SHARPER Warren Sharper, Sr. departed this life on Wednesdsay, April 13, 2011. Beloved husband of Georgia Williams-Sharper. Beloved father of Eugene and Kevin Smith, Kenyatta and Warren Sharper, Jr., Kentrell Gwinn, Britany Domino, the late James, Pam and Mary. Adopted father of Albert III, Paul and Lawrence Jackson, and Emelda Redmond. Beloved brother of Frozine Kelly, Dorothy Gibbs, the late Emile, Wilbert, Ledell, Jessie and Odeell. Son-in-law of Georgiana Williams and the late Lawrence Sr. Brother-in-law of the late Samuel Kelly. Beloved grandfather of Warren Sharper III. Great-grandfather of Tyron, Omari and Tyronica Flot, his babies, as well as 31 other grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastor, officers and members of Plymouth Rock Baptist Church are invited to attend the service. A Funeral will be held at Plymough Rock Baptist Church, 233 Hillary St. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 9 o'clock a.m. Pastor Rainey L. Daniels, officiating. Interment St. Marys Baptist Church Cemetery, Wakefield, LA. (NO WAKE). Visitation 8 o'clock a.m. in the Church. CHARBONNET-LABAT-GLAPION 584-4411

Even though we only met one time through Warren Jr., my little bro. I feel as if I knew you. Mr. Sharper you ran this race, fought the good fight, and finished the course. Sorry old man that I missed it, but you know how life is. Things don't always go as you plan it. But I always will remember what you did for me even when you did not have to. I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved father, Warren Sharper, Sr. It seems like yesterday that we past this way. I know that you are strong in the Lord and know that He will never leave you no forsake. Just trust in the Lord and believe in what he says. Keep the faith. Stay in the race. Come what may, remember to pray. For He will be with you always.
