Warren E. Watkins

1944 - 2015

WATKINS Warren E. Watkins, 70, of St. Johns, Florida, went to be with our Lord on December 5th, 2015. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday at 6:30pm at Faith Baptist Church of Mandarin, 2955 Orange Picker Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32223 (904)262-6944. Additionally, a graveside service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hills Funeral Home at 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N., Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Andy Pietrylo of Faith Baptist Church of Mandarin will be officiating. Warren was born in Valdosta, Georgia, on December 20, 1944 and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a professional musician and owned a locksmith business. Warren was an avid Gator football fan, and enjoyed driving his Mercedes convertible with his dog Bear in the front seat. Warren was married to Vicky Duffer on August 30, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Vicky, son Warren Watkins II, mother, Juanita Mathis, brothers: Guy Watkins, Roy Watkins, half-sister LaRaye Watkins Flowers, five step-children and 21 grandchildren.
