Welton LaCroix Obituary

Welton LaCroix departed this life on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Bayside Healthcare, Gretna, La. Welton was born on August 17, 1925 in New Orleans, La. He was a member of the U.S. Army and honorably discharged as a Master Sargent and retired after 20 years of dedicated service to his country. Son of the late Ernest and Julia LaCroix. He leaves to remember his life his ex-wife Iona LaCroix of Algiers, La. Father of Mark LaCroix (Jeanie), Arnold and Deborah LaCroix of Houston, TX. Grandfather of Brianna LaCroix of Los Angeles, CA., also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Murray Henderson Funeral Home, 1209 Teche St., Algiers, La. at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. Murray Henderson Funeral Home in charge.

I certainly miss and love you Uncle Welton. It was a true pleasure getting to know you and my family through our talks, it helped fill the void I had. You really showed me love and I will never forget that. God blessed you to live a good life. Your niece Linda.
