We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Deacon Will was very special to our family. From the time I attended ICS & IHS, his smiling face & warm presence bring back so many memories. When a dear uncle passed away, he was there again providing support to our family and knew all the right words to say. The best memory we will treasure is that Deacon Will presided over our wedding 11 years ago. He helped to make our night extra special by his kindness, words of wisdom & by his wit. We will miss him greatly. We hope that your family can find comfort in knowing what a difference Will made in the lives of others. You are all in our prayers.

Our deepest sympathies,
Nicole & Clint Ostarly

I will always remember Deacon Wil as a Priest, that was married. Deacon Wil blessed our 40th. wedding anniversary, we both renewed our voles. I remember Deacon Wil was given a assignment, to give structure, to one parish on the west bank. He took a Chapel and made it a Church. We were lucky to have him as our Deacon. His heart and home was always at, "Our Lady of Prompt Succor", in Westwego. Deacon Wil knew more about his Catholic faith than some Priests. The wife & I want to be united with him again, in the Heavenly rim. I will forever remember his voice, it was clear and pure. He roared like a lion but, was as gentle, as a lamb. Oh I almost forgot, he did the special blessing for my St. Benedict Cross. Deacon Wil, while he was in Korea, he gave a Marine a Rosary, the Marine refused it. Deacon Wil knew I was a Marine and asked if I wanted it, I told him I would cherish it, because it came from him. He taught me how to say the Angelic Psalter, the joyful, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries of the Rosary, said together. Wilfred "Deacon Wil" Robichaux Jr. my wife and I will deeply miss you. The world became a little darker, because your light was so bright.

So sorry for your families loss. I as a child going to Immaculate conception church I will always remember the smile that light up his face. I observed that he always had time for everyone. As I grew up in marrero I would see him around town and just knew that if I went up to him he would kindly talk to me even though we had never meet. He definitely left an impression on me as I am sure he did for many others. I was sorry to hear that he passed away knowing I would not see his face around town anymore but I know we will see one another again one day. May god keep you and may you Rest In Peace.

A wonderful friend, and collaborator in ministry in so many ways over the last so many years, between my parents and me. It's literally my entire lifetime that we knew, worked with, and enjoyed life with this good man. Our lives always seemed to intersect after I left Immaculate Coneption, too. Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Prompt Succor are richer and more holy parishes, and their parishioners closer to our Lord because of Deacon Wil and Mrs. Moni. May our Loss not be long on this Earth and God hold all in the consoling comfort of the palm of His hand.

We celebrate the life of Deacon Will which was dedicated to serving his god and community. He positively effected the lives of many in his lifetime. He was a great role model to me while serving as a Religion Teacher in the 70's. He taught us how to praise god, respect school, respect each other, have fun, and be ourselves. Ministering our first responders and military was also important to him, because he believed that people who put their lives on the line for their fellow man was special. So was he. God Bless Deacon Will.

Deacon Will was a faithful sevant of our Lord. I am grateful that he was part of our wedding ceremony almost 30 years ago. Our family was honored that he was able to perform the Eulogy at my mom's funeral. She wanted no one else but Wil. Rest in Peace sweet Wil.
