William Anderson Bloom Jr.

BLOOM William Anderson Bloom, Jr., a retired psychiatrist, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the age of 70. Father of William Anderson Bloom III and Carin Lynne Bloom McCorgary. Son of the late Dr. and Mrs. William Bloom. Brother of the late Jean Bloom Hilligas and Byrd Bloom Hert. Grandfather of Lindsey Alisa McCorgary and Julian Patrick Bloom. Dr. Bloom received his BS Degree from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO, and his M.D. Degree and Residency from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He was one-time Medical Director of Southeast Louisiana Hospital in Mandeville, LA, had a private practice on the Northshore since the 1980's and was a Life Member of the American Psychiatric Association. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Ashbury Drive, Mandeville, LA. E.J.
