To Joan & Family,
I was very upset to learn of Billy's passing. He was one of my "uncles" in Base Supply. At Langley, at Lakefront Airport, and at NAS, Billy and the other guys at Base Supply took care of me when I went out to the base on some Saturdays with my dad. When my Dad had health problems, he said his "boys" were the reason he could come back to work. Before I was old enough to get into the Guard, I remember going to the CAA softball games. Once I did get into the Guard, I enjoyed playing with Billy. One hell of a pitcher. I apologize for not being to go the services but I was liad up for a while. I always try to go to service for each of my "uncles" in Base Supply. Billy was truly one of the "good guys" My sympathies.

I can only add to what was said in Billy's memorial! He was the ultimate gentleman! When I returned from Vietnam and joined the Air Guard Billy was one of the first to greet and make feel welcome! He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him!
