Willie "June" Coston Jr., age 68 was born on July 31, 1952 in Clinton, La departed this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021 peacefully at his home. Willie June graduated from Clinton High School in 1970 in Clinton, LA. Willie was the husband of the loving wife Viola Hatch Coston. Son of the late Willie and Martha Tapps Coston. Father of Amanda Hatch, Kishawn (Lamant) Howard, Katrina Turner and Jeffnietta (Jones). Brother of Priscilla Coston, Deborah (Lawrence) Butler, David, Gary and Frederick Coston. Special Cousins, Bruce Coston and Lionel Young. Also survived by 10 grandchildren Keirra, Lamonica, Elijah, Juel, Eli, Imani, Halee, Johntrice, Terriyan, Ryan and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 1 son, Elijah Hatch; 2 brothers, Jeffery and Patrick Coston; 2 grandparents, Alice Young and Freddie Tapps; 2 maternal grandparents, Charlie and Littie K. Young; and paternal grandparents, Anderson and Bessie T. Coston Sr. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue at 10:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment Asbury Community Cemetery-Clinton, LA. Due to Covid-19 all those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing. You may sign the guest book on www.gertrudegeddeswillis.com.
