Yancy (Winky-Big Chief) Coleman departed this life at Meadowcrest Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2003 at 7:25P.M. Father of Shawnece (Nene) Carr. Son of the late Robert M. and Mary L. Coleman. Brother of Paula Keller, Connie, Denise, Norris, Kevin, Carlton, Tyrone and Mark Coleman and the late Morris and Troy Coleman. Nephew of Joan Marie Wickem, Willie Mae Delott, Susie Adams, Perry Wickem and Andrew Delott. Brother-in-law of Ben Keller, Connie, Cynthia and Hope Coleman. Godfather of La'Shekia D. Armand and Tyrone S. Coleman, Jr. Friend of Felton, Pumpsy, Vimp, Bo, Craig, Lil Mikie, Terry, Keith, Horris, Troy, Clifford, James, and Shawn, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age 44 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion B.C., Macedonia B.C., Rock of Ages B.C., St. Mary B.C., and Metro Outreach Ministry, employees of Jefferson Parish Housing Authority, Jefferson Parish School Board, Gulf State, and Candy Land Day Care are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thursday, December 4, 2004 at 11:00A.M. Rev. Ernest Weber-Officiating. (NO WAKE). Visitation from 9:00A.M. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Bright Star Cemetery-Marrero, LA. Family guest book may be sign online at www.legacy.com. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La.
