Yvonne Marie Miller

Yvonne Marie Miller transitioned and entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2023. She was 60 years old. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and became a resident of Baton Rouge, LA after Hurricane Katrina. Yvonne was a graduate of G.W. Carver High School class of 1981. She later pursued her passion for helping others and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Yvonne worked for the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Schools for several years. Yvonne leaves an abundance of memories to be cherished by her mother Christine Davis (Johnny), 2 sons: Charles H. Dale Jr. (Alexis Williams) and Donald Dale, 6 grandchildren Destiny and Charles Dale III, Tyree Brooks, Christian Williams, Katelynn Williams and Felton Storks, 3 brothers: Charles and Eric (Kim) Miller and Lester (Kirsten) Ezidore Jr., 2 aunts: Wanda Washington (Alton) and Cynthia Spencer (Juan Sr.), and 1 great aunt Abbrysinia Sam, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Yvonne is preceded in death by her father George Miller, Jr., grandparents Charles Davis, Mary Broussard, George Miller, Sr. and Edmonia Cole Miller, aunt Bonita Davis, and her cousin Tamzy Bowie. Yvonne was a devoted and faithful member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the Celebration of Yvonne's amazing life on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126 for 1:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Bennie Scott officiating.
