Allan Douglas Ring, age 51, of Neola, IA, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2024, in Council Bluffs. Allan was born November 15,1972, in Council Bluffs to the late Albert L. and Verna (Miller) Ring. He attended Neola St. Joseph Elementary and graduated from Tri-Center High School. Allan was united in marriage to wife, Teresa, on October 10, 2009. Allan worked for many years at the family business, Ring Transfer, and was passionate for his family and cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Verna. Allan is survived by his wife, Teresa, of Neola; daughter, Brittney Christensen, of Council Bluffs; son, Bradley (Michelle) Christensen, of Underwood, IA; future grandson due in May; in-laws, Dan and Orlene Gardner, of Council Bluffs; six siblings and their spouses, Deborah Schierbrock (Bill), Frank Ring, Denise Ring, Albert Ring Jr. (Connie), Walt Ring (Phylisha), Joanne Manhart (Brian), all of Neola; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Visitation, Sunday, from 2 to 6 p.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola. Funeral Mass, Monday, 10:30 a.m., also at the Church. Allan will be laid to rest in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Neola. Luncheon will follow in St. Patrick's Parish Hall.
