August 18, 1926 - May 13, 2025

Conrad W. "Connie" Rasmussen, age 98, passed away peacefully at his home on May 13, 2025.

He was born August 18, 1926, to the late Walter and Kristine Rasmussen, in Council Bluffs, IA. Connie graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Council Bluffs Community School District.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Ray Thompson; infant son, John; stepson, George "Allen".

Connie is survived by his wife, JoAnn Rasmussen; children, Beverly (Don) Hickman, Jim Rasmussen, Michael (Kristi) Rasmussen, and Elise (Mike) Feierfeil; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Josephine Meade; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The family will direct memorials towards education opportunities in Connie's honor.
