Gary was one of my best friends and boss years ago when we worked at the Granary restaurant in the Bluffs. Lost contact with him when I left there. We finally got into contact around February of this year. I talked to him on the phone what an awesome conversation. It brought back many memories.
I also had the opportunity to converse with his daughter Amy and his wife Judy whom I never had the chance to meet them. I want to say what a awesome person he was and such a good friend I'll miss him a lot. We planned on me coming over to his house and cooking steaks and he said you're doing the cooking. And that still made me nervous for some reason. He was a great friend and boss. R.I.P. buddy. I'll see you when I see you.

So sorry to Gary's family -- back in the day of TJHS we had a drag race - not sure who won but we got caught :)
