Lambert

Harold H. "Hal" Lambert passed away October 24, 2002 in Florence, Arizona. Harold was born on October 30, 1925, in Eldon, Iowa, to Clarence and Elizabeth Lambert. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy he met and married the love of his life, Patricia Curley. From this union four children were born, Dennis, Douglas, Michael, and Sandra. They spent many years living in Council Bluffs. Harold was the Trainmaster for the Rock Island Railroad. He later transferred to the OKT railroad and finished his career as an Assistant Division Superintendent stationed in El Reno, Oklahoma. Harold and Patricia then retired to Northglenn, Colorado. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter Patricia passed away. Harold later met and married Lila Buford. They retired to Florence, Arizona. Harold was a proud member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a kind and loving father, grandfather and husband. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Donald; and his loving wife Patricia. His survivors include son, Dennis and wife Sheron of Diamondhead, Miss., son Douglas and wife Laura of Council Bluffs, son Michael and wife Patricia of Vero Beach, Florida, and daughter Sandra and husband John Foughty of Arvada, Colorado; brother Paul Lambert and wife Helen of Douds, Iowa, sister Gretchen Kinnamon of Bloomfield, Iowa; grandchildren Stacy, Tiffany, Ashley, Breanna, and AJ; great grandchildren Nolan, Zach, and Carter and wife Lila of Florence. Dad, we think about you and mom every day. We miss you both so very much and cannot wait to rejoin you in Heaven.
