Helen Nelson

1926 - 2022

Helen Elaine Nelson peacefully passed away December 7, 2022, at the age of 96. Helen was born March 4, 1926, on the farm just outside of Persia, IA., to the late John and Minnie (Tradel) Moss. She was a college graduate that went on to be a bookkeeper for Clark Drug Store in Council Bluffs. After her retirement, her bookkeeping skills continued to prevail in her personal life. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband Earl. Survivors include her sons Gary and Wayne; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Her comical quotes will be missed by all. We love you Mom, say, "Hi" to Dad. See ya later. Graveside Service Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2 p.m., at the Grange Cemetery, Honey Creek, IA. Family and Friends to meet at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m., for cortege to the Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Council Bluffs, or the Arthritis Foundation.
