Mary Jane Price, age 80 years, passed away on June 2, 2024.

She was born September 14, 1943, to the late John and Vera Wooten. Mary Jane graduated from Malvern Iowa High School. She married Thomas E. Price on June 2, 1962 and rejoined her husband on their wedding anniversary. Mary Jane worked in the produce department for Hy-Vee Grocery Store until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband; along with her brother, Dean Wooten; brother-in-law, Jack Huebner.

Survived by children, Tom (Jody) Price, Melinda (Anthony) Zimmerman, Trent (Michelle) Price, Melissa (Jeff) Talbott; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean Huebner, Bob (Cathy) Wooten, Cody White, Harry (Linda) Wooten; other loving family and friends.

Visitation, Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Service, Friday, at 11 a.m., at the Bayliss Park Chapel. Interment, Garner Township Cemetery. Memorials directed by the family.

I grew up with Mary going to the same school for a few years. She also married my first husband's best friend and we spent a lot of time together in our early married years, played a lot of cards and had a lot of laughs. RIP my friend!!
