Michael Robert Henry, age 74, of Crescent, IA, passed away at his residence with his family by his side, on October 1, 2025.
Michael was born December 4,1950, in Council Bluffs, to the late Robert and Delores (Brown) Henry. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and worked for 42 years, retiring in 2012 from Union Pacific Railroad Department MOW Maintenance of Way.
He was united in marriage to Jodie (Dungan) in 1969.
In addition to his parents Michael is preceded in death by his in-laws, Melvin and Geraline Dungan; brother, Bruce Henry; nephew, Phillip Martin Rocha.
Michael is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jodie Henry of Crescent; sons, Timothy (Patty) Henry, of Waddell, AZ, Chad (Leslie) Henry, of Glendale, AZ, Lucas (Marcela) Henry, of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Shelby, Chase, Jacob, Nathan, Enzo, Pablo, David, AJ, and Aiyana; three great-grandchildren, Riggs, Tatum and Shay; sister, Patricia (Martin) Rocha, of Council Bluffs; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation, Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Michael will be laid to rest beside his parents at a later date in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
