August 20, 1940 - September 20, 2025

Nancy J. Cochran, age 85, passed away September 20, 2025, in Council Bluffs. Nancy was born in Iowa City, Iowa, on August 20, 1940, to Dwight and Elda (Clapper) Lybarger, and graduated from Tabor High School with the Class of 1958. Nancy was united in marriage to Travis Eugene Cochran on June 25,1960, and to this union two children were born, Rick and Susie. Nancy served as office manager at Dr. Terry Johnson's office for many years. Her hobbies included bowling, line dancing, and reading. Her focus was always family first and her children, and grandchildren will forever be grateful. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Travis in 2022; and brothers David and Larry Lybarger. Survivors include son Rick Cochran and wife Lisa, daughter Susie Keuck and husband Kevin; grandchildren Kyle Cochran (Katie), Haley Smyser, Lindsay Keuck-Smith (Jeremy), Quentin Keuck (Bailey); five great-grandchildren; sister Pat Steffensen (Den); brother Gary Lybarger; nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held, and Nancy will be laid to rest at Omaha National Cemetery with husband Travis.
