Patricia Markham Obituary
Patricia was born in Conway, Ark., on November 21, 1932, to Faber and Helen Jones Hicks. She attended Arkansas State Teachers College and worked as a real estate broker.
She is preceded in death by husband, Joseph Allen Markham.
Survivors include daughter, Sheri Allen and husband, Cary of Omaha; son, Steve Klemetson and wife, Sandra of Murrieta, Calif.; grandchildren, Amber Delaney and husband, Jeremy of Council Bluffs, Courtney Allen of Omaha, Kristin Beard of Murrieta; great grandchildren, Dakota and Carson Delaney of Council Bluffs.
Visitation with family Monday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Inurnment at a later date.

As each hoilday approaches us it just is not the same with you gone. They almost don't seem important anymore. There is never a day that goes by that I dont think of you or remember something special about you. Everyone is doing well,but you are always on our mind. You will never been forgotten. Well, mom it has been a year since you were taken from us. Its hard to believe. The days don't really get any easier as time goes by. I think of you everyday and how so badly, I want to pick up the phone and call you. I would give anything just to heard your voice and see you beautiful face again. You are miss so much by eveyone. Everytime I talk to Eleanor she always says, I miss Pat and our conversations. She says you two had great conversations and alot of laughs. You will never be forgotten and in our hearts everyday. We got engaged the same weekend we visited Pat and Allen in California almost 23 years ago! Since that time she helped us to gather many fond memories as part of the growing Markham family. She will always be "Grandma Pat" to us!
Scott and I were actually looking for pictures for a school project earlier in the week and stumbled across the ones taken during our last visit to California way back in 2000. Pat is there with her beautiful smile (and all of Allen's cats!). How ironic that she passed away the day after we found them.... I'd like to think it was someone's way of letting us know that she was thinking about us too.
