Robin Krause

1953 - 2024

Robin Arna Krause (Kissel) age 70 years old passed away on June 6th, 2024 at Bergan Mercy Hospital. She was born July 5, 1953 to Billie and Robert Kissel Sr in Washington DC.

Robin was a die-hard ice hockey fan, she never missed a game, especially the Omaha Lancers and Washington Capitals. You could always hear her cheering her teams on while watching from home. She was a volunteer with Girl Scout troop 242. The girls and their families meant so much to Robin. She was the best cookie chaos coordinator the troop could have! Robin was retired but worked in this community for over 25 years. She loved spending time with all of her friends and family. She enjoyed playing canasta with her family. Although, after all of these years the family still hasn't quite figured out how she cheated each time! :)

Robin was preceded in death by both of her parents and her great grandson CJ. She is survived by: her husband, Matthew, children: Nauri (Steven), Vincent (Donna), Kourtney (An), Tiffani (Austin), and Lori. Brothers: Robert and Clayton (Jackie), Grandchildren: Tony, Ashley, Eric, Damien, Cameron, Brittany F, Michael F, Lyla, Lillian, Lyle, Brittany S, Candance, and Michael W. 19 Great Grandchildren, Sisters of the heart: Sharon (Steven) and Jessica. She is also survived by many more friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was a bonus mom and grandma to many of her children's friends who became family over the years. She is missed by all of those who loved her so much.

A memorial service will be held for Robin at Broadway United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs on Tuesday, June 11 at 1:00 pm with a luncheon to follow. All are welcome.
