Dale Ann (Doty) Hoyt, age 76, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away on March 28, 2026.

Dale Ann was born on January 20, 1950 to Jim and Betty Doty. A lifelong resident of the area, she graduated from Missouri Valley High School, where she met the love of her life. On November 22, 1969, she married her high school sweetheart, Dan Hoyt, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned more than five decades.

Dale Ann was a dedicated farm wife and a loving, steadfast mother. In addition to her work at home, she spent several years working at Valley Drug Store. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-cooking meals for her family, traveling across the United States with their Airstream camping group, and spending winters in Florida. She loved to laugh and brought that joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Betty Doty; her brother, James Doty; and her son, Joel Hoyt.

Dale Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Dan Hoyt; her son, Adam (Jennifer) Hoyt of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and her daughter, Sarah (Cory) Hornbeck of Gilbert, Arizona. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Community Room on Thursday, April 02, 2026.The family will direct memorials.
