Rodney Grap Jr.

Rodney Charles "Mister" Grap, Jr., age 39 years. Rodney was born November 17, 1983, to Rodney and Jennifer Grap in Council Bluffs. Iowa. He passed away December 27, 2022. Rodney graduated from Glenwood High School in 2002 after graduation he attended Iowa Central Community College to further his education and continue wrestling. After college he started his career in ammonia refrigeration. The loves of his life were his children Evan (18) Breeanne (12) and Jaxen (10). Rodney never smiled as brightly as when he was with his children. He was an avid sports fan and never missed a chance to brag about his beloved Iowa Hawkeyes. Rodney was also proud of his gun collection and enjoyed shooting them any chance he got. He loved spending time with his parents, siblings, cousins and many friends. Rodney is preceded in death by grandparents, Donovan and Carmella Grap, Gene and Thelma Ulmer, Darlene and Bill Pond, Bill Lamkins. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Cook; children, Evan, Breanne and Jaxen Grap; parents, Rodney and Jennifer Grap; sisters, Lisa (Winton) Sherry, Joey (Chad) Wicks, Samantha Grap; nieces and nephews, Savannah, Anthony, Alexa, Raegen, Addison, Kadence, Khloe and Jacobi; many other loving family and friends. Memorial service Monday 2 p.m., with visitation staring one hour prior, at 1 p.m. at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Interment Garner Township Cemetery.
