Skye McMillin Obituary
Skye was a junior at the East Mills High School in Malvern, Iowa where she played volleyball. Skye is survived by her mother, Amy Hollesen of Council Bluffs; father, Richard "Rick" McMillin and his wife Kim of Stanton, Iowa; brother, Jesse McMillin of Council Bluffs; grandmother, Joyce Longcor of Oakland, Iowa; grandparents, Robert and Linda McMillin of Red Oak, Iowa; step sisters and brother, Makayla Hudson, Kaylie Hudson, and Bryan Putnum all of Stanton; and special friend, Gregg Greene of Malvern, Iowa.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 31, 2008, at the Hertz Funeral Home in Carson, Iowa with family present to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, February 1, 2008, at the East Mills Nishna Valley Building, Hastings, Iowa, at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the Carson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.

To you and your family: I was saddened to hear of Skye's passing when reading the paper. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember having her in first grade when she attended Underwood. She was a pleasant and happy student.

Skye was one of my close friends and it so tragic what happened. She is going to be greatly missed but bunches and bunches pf people. We will all always love her and never forget her. She tried to bring your spirits up when they were down and she was always smiling and singing in the hallways at school. She will never be forgotten. We love you Skye!!
