I want the whole Volentine family to know that we will all miss Tim. He was a very good friend to my father. He was always there when dad needed a ride or just someone to talk to when we were not able to be there. I appreciated everything he did for my dad. He will be missed tremendously. God be with all of you.

Tim was my best friend in high school. We shared experiences that would bind us together for a lifetime. He was a strong, kind, and gentle person who had a good heart. Even then.

Then he went into the service and I lost track of him for 30 years. I often thought about him and wondered if we would ever cross paths again.

A few months ago we ran into each other and it was like finding a long lost brother. It felt like suddenly a huge hole in my soul, one that had been void for many years, had been filled. We did not have enough time to even fully catch up before the Big Guy called him home. Now I've lost my best friend again, this time forever.

To the family all I can say is I feel your pain. I loved him too.

Timmer, know that you touched many lives. There are many people that are grieving for your loss. But I'm thinking you would say "It's OK. I'm sorry to leave you, but it was my time. Be sad for me for awhile, but remember me as I was and move on. It hurts me to cause you this pain, and I want you to be happy."

I'll see you on the other side my friend. Save a place at the table for me. I Love You Buddy.

Sorry for the loss of your beloved brother.

"O my God! This is Thy servant and the son of Thy servant who hath believed in Thee and in Thy signs, and set his face towards Thee, wholly detached from all except Thee. Thou art, verily, of those who show mercy the most merciful.
Deal with him, O Thou Who forgivest the sins of men and concealest their faults, as beseemeth the heaven of Thy bounty and the ocean of Thy grace. Grant him admission within the precincts of Thy transcendent mercy that was before the foundation of earth and heaven. There is no God but Thee, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous."

I am so sorry for your loss. I've never met Tim, but it sounds like he was very loved my so many friends and family and lived a wonderful life. My family came upon the accident scene friday night. I felt so helpless. My husband tried to talk to Tim but was unsuccessful. Please know that he was surrounded by a lot of strangers who tried to help him. Keep your memories of him close to your heart and always remember you'll be with him again someday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Tim a very long time ago. He had a smile that could light up the room. It's been a while since I've seen Tim but thought of him often with a smile. My sympathy to the entire Volentine family. I'm sorry I am so far away and unable to be there with you in your time of loss.
